A brief history of how we came to be Scup's in the Harbour

Back in 2000 David and Wendy (previous owners of the famous Emma's Pizza in Cambridge) moved from Cambridge to an 85-foot tugboat located in the East Boston side of the Boston Harbor. They went out for a walk one afternoon when they noticed this "fox-like" creature right by the tugboat.

Dave crawled out to retrieve "it" and soon discovered this little guy was a drenched dog that had obviously swum to their tugboat from the middle of the harbor. Unable to locate any owner, Wendy and Dave eventually ended up adopting him and named him Scup after the fish . Their new restaurant is right at the same location where they found Scup...henceforth "Scup's in the Harbour".
